Tuf-Steel® Sanitary Bevel Seat Gaskets are the material of choice when purity, long service life, performance, chemical resistance, and heat resistance are required. Tuf-Steel® Gaskets are 100% leak free when torqued correctly, and will experience minimum creep and cold flow. The Tuf-Steel® material is a unique proprietary blend of non-pigmented PTFE (Teflon®) and 316L Stainless Steel that has been water atomized and passivated. The end result is a Tuf-Steel® Gasket that is non-stick, features no pigmentation, and has ultra-low absorption rates. These Bevel Seat Gaskets can maintain seal integrity under large temperature fluctuations with a serviceable temperature range from -350°F to 550°F. We recommend the use of the Torque-Rite® Clamp to get the most out of these gaskets.
