VNE 13MHHS Three Segment Clamps are constructed from 304 stainless steel and intended for use with sanitary Tri-Clamp® fitting connections. The three piece hinge design of these sanitary clamps provides the most evenly distributed clamping pressure possible while maintaining the ease of use that a wing nut style clamp offers. A three segment clamp will allow for slightly higher service pressure ratings over traditional 2-piece hinge clamps.

Clamp style fittings are most popular due to the easy assembly and breakdown of process lines and equipment for repair or maintenance. VNE Clamp Fittings are offered in 304 and 316L Stainless Steel and meet all 3A requirements.

Service pressure ratings are based on the following parameters: matching elastomer gaskets and weld ferrules properly aligned and assembled with the clamps tightened to required torques. Tests are done hydrostatically with no water hammer or shock loads. Please note the pressure ratings of the described unions may be above the recommended pipe line operating pressures.
