The Spirax Sarco M70i Stainless Steel Ball Valves are intended for high purity sanitary applications. Designed and manufactured in accordance with ASME BPE Standards for use as an isolating valve on high purity and aseptic processes where bacteria and media deposits can put product quality at risk. Spirax Sarco M70i Sanitary Ball Valves are a low maintenance, clean design that is suitable for steam, liquid, or gas service ranging from vacuum to high temperature and pressure applications. Applications include the pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage and cosmetics industries.
Spirax Sarco M70i Isolation Ball Valve Features:

- Forged Construction - high integrity ASTM A182 F316L
- Low Ferrite Body and End Connections to prevent rouge
- Electro-polished 15 μ-in Ra (0.375 μm Ra) Internal Surface Finish
- Virgin PTFE Seat/Seals
- Cavity Fillers are provided as standard
- BPE Compliant Tube Extensions available for orbital welding
- Fully complies with the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC
- ISO 5211 Mounting Pad
- Spring Loaded Handle locks valve in position
- CMTR's Available for Material Certification to EN 10204 3.1, Elastomer FDA / USP Compliance Certificate, and surface finish
- All certification / inspection requirements must be stated at the time of order placement
- Max Allowable Pressure (PMA): 900 psig @ 68°F (62 barg @ 20°C)
- Max Allowable Temperature (TMA): 390°F @ 0 psig (200°C @ 0 barg)
- Min Allowable Temperature*: -20°F (-29°C)
- Max Allowable Pressure for Sat. Steam (PMO): 100 psig (7 barg)
- Max Operating Temperature (TMO): 390°F @ 0 psig
- Minimum Operating Temperature*: 32°F (0°C)
- Max Cold Hydraulic Test Pressure: 1350 psig (93 barg)
