Sanitary Tri-Clamp® Replacement Orifice Plate Gaskets - FKM (No Plate)
Rubber Fab FKM Tri-Clamp® Replacement Orifice Plate Gaskets are to be used as replacement seals for screen gaskets, orifice plate gaskets, and perforated plate gaskets that do not use an entrapped design. These are compatible with Rubber Fab's orifice plate gaskets, sock screen gaskets and perforated sock gaskets. Rubber Fab's flat screen and perforated plate gaskets use and entrapped design and are not replacable.
FKM Gaskets are specified by many process equipment manufacturers and are generally suitable for these applications, however service life must be considered and a preventative maintenance program must be in place to mitigate degradation. While acceptable, we do not recommend FKM Gaskets for continuous use in SIP (steam in place) procedures. With that said, FKM Sanitary Gaskets have excellent compatibility with strong acids and maintain a broad range of operating temperatures from -30°F to 400°F.
Storing FKM Gaskets:
- Shelf Life: 10 Years from cure date
- Store in original packaging in clean and dry warehouse
- Do not expose to direct sunlight
- Keep more than 6' away from electric motors
- Maintain temperature between 65°F and 85°F
