Garlock GYLON BIO-PRO® Gaskets are an aseptic food grade Tri-Clamp® Gasket made from GYLON BIO-LOK, a PTFE material that provides exceptional sealing performance for all pharmaceutical and food processing applications and processes. It's restructured PTFE composition provides safe, durable, and consistent sealing performance in a range of challenging environments, including exposure to acids, caustics, sensitive media, low and high temperatures and pressures. GYLON BIO-PRO® Gaskets are dimensionally stable and resist intrusion.
By remaining flexible, tight, and flush with the pipe bore, even under high loads, GYLON BIO-LINE® gaskets further eliminate the potential for process material contamination caused by traditional elastomeric seals.
Storing GYLON® BIO-PRO® Gaskets:
Store flat in a cool, dry area
Do not fold or bend
If exposed to greases, oils, or solvents in liquid or vapor form, clean before installing
Store away from incidental exposure to all types of radiation
Following extended storage, carefully inspect the material for damage
If in doubt concerning any of the above provisions, consult the factory
