Sanitary Cam and Groove Sock Screen GasketsCam and Groove Perforated Sock Gaskets - Silicone (Platinum Cured)
Cam and Groove Perforated Sock Gaskets - Silicone (Platinum Cured)
Silicone Perforated Sock Cam and Groove Gaskets are manufactured with a 22 Gauge 316L Stainless Steel Perforated Sock that has been flow trapped into the gasket body. The benefits of the Sock Screen versus traditional flat screen gaskets include: 300% more open area, greater flow under heavy particulate, less servicing, and reduced downtime. Use these fluid filtration gaskets for bulk transfers, tanker truck transfers, pump protection, fluid conditioning, flavor infusion, and much more.
With a stringent ASME-BPE design, these filtration gaskets can be utilized for particulate removal in a number or processes and industries. Whether being used as a pre-filter for expensive membrane filters, or straining particulate in fill and finish products, these sanitary gaskets can save you from equipment wear and product contamination.
Platinum Cured Silicone Camlock Gaskets are an excellent choice for use in production facilities for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, high-purity water, and food/beverage products. Silicone Sanitary Gaskets can withstand temperature extremes, radiation, corona, ozone exposure, moisture and steam. Silicone gaskets are very flexible at low temperatures, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, and hygienic. With the ability to be autoclaved, irradiated and gas sterilized, Platinum Cured Silicone Gaskets provide you with the ultimate high purity contact surface.
The curing process of Silicone Gaskets has a direct affect on the amount and type of extractables the hygienic seal will emit. The peroxide curing process leaves residuals of Benzoic Acid (the curing additive) that results in unwanted surface conditions that can lead to product contamination. The platinum curing process eliminates this problem and minimizes reaction between the gasket and process fluids. These gaskets are post cured and will not cause cell mutation or growth retardation. Our Platinum Cured Silicone Gaskets maintain and uphold ultrapure water and cGMP process fluid standards. These gaskets have been manufactured from milled gum silicone which offers superior resistance to tearing and deformation when compared to traditional liquid injection molding silicone.
