Cam and Groove Orifice Plate Gaskets - FKM
Note: FKM Camlock Orifice Plates ship with a blank plate finished to 15 µ-in Ra as standard, but we are happy to accommodate special requests for hole boring (concentric or eccentric), electropolishing, metal detectable elastomers, and custom cut patterns. Click here to submit a Request for Quote.
Rubber Fab FKM Cam and Groove Orifice Plate Gaskets are designed with centering knobs on all sides to make installation and removal a breeze. These Sanitary Orifice Plates come standard with a 15 µ-in Ra Mechanical Polished 316L stainless steel blank plate, but are available electropolished to 10 µ-in Ra for special applications. We can also furnish these pre-bored to your specifications with eccentric or concentric bores up to 3" in diameter.
FKM Camlock Gaskets are specified by many process equipment manufacturers and are generally suitable for these applications, however service life must be considered and a preventative maintenance program must be in place to mitigate degradation. While acceptable, we do not recommend FKM Gaskets for continuous use in SIP (steam in place) procedures. With that said, FKM Sanitary Gaskets have excellent compatibility with strong acids and maintain a broad range of operating temperatures from -30°F to 400°F.
