Dixon Sanitary BSCCQ3 Side-Entry Filters / Strainer

Dixon Sanitary's BSCCQ Side Entry Filter / Strainer is capable of acting as either a filter or strainer by simply changing the internal media. The benefit of using a side entry strainer is that they are serviceable without removing the unit from the process stream. This unit can be used to filter particles from 864 microns all the way down to 38 microns. The BSCCQ Filter / Strainers are available with 1" through 3" Tri-Clamp® ends for simple installation. Body and all wetted metal components are constructed of 316L Stainless with a 3A ID/OD finish. Meets 3A 10-04 requirements under the following conditions when mounted vertically and using a 1/4" Perforated Back-Up Tube. Filter / Strainer media sold separately.

Filters - A filter uses a disposable media to remover finer particulate from the stream. Dixon Sanitary holds Authorization Number 1446 for the #A Sanitary Standard for Filters using Single Service Media, Number: 10-4. Vertical mounting is necessary to meet 3A 10-04 requirements for minimal product clingage. Click to view available filter mediums for use with the BSCCQ. Strainers - A strainer is a device used to separate solids from fluids. Here it is used for larger particulate matter from liquid or gas. It uses cleanable media. Click to view available mesh strainer screens for use with the BSCCQ. These 316L Stainless Wire Cloth Mesh Over Screens are not 3A compatible.
