DFT® DSV® Sanitary Check Valves - Vertical Style
The DFT DSV® Sanitary Check valve is a non-slamming spring check valve designed to prevent flow reversal in industries with strict cleanliness codes. To accommodate various piping arrangements, the DSV® Stainless Steel Check Valve is available in a "Vertical" or "Horizontal" style. The "Horizontal" line is a self-draining valve for use in horizontal lines. The "Vertical" design is for vertical lines or horizontal lines where a self draining valve is not required.
The standard DSV® valve features a 316L stainless steel body and seat that is fastened using a quick release clamp and elastomeric body seal for fast and easy access to internals. The standard internal surface finish is 32 Ra while the disc and seat are lapped to provide excellent shutoff. Optional upgrades include a 25 Ra electropolished internal, 15 Ra electropolished internal, Viton® seal, or Tuf-Flex® seal.
