Whether your clamps are loosening due to cold flowing PTFE gaskets or line vibrations the Spring Loaded Nut can help. Ideal where high pressure bolted clamps are not an option but leaking connections occur. Most wing nut style clamps (5/16"-18 thread) can be easily retrofitted by simply removing the existing wing nut and installing this piece torqued to 50 in-lb. This unit is constructed from 304 stainless steel to match the sanitary standards of your clamps. Features 7/8" hex head.
