These gaskets come in a set of three. The Spirax Sarco BTD52L Series Thermo-Dynamic Steam Traps are constructed entirely of 316L Stainless Steel making it suitable for aggressive condensate found in deionized water steam systems. Condensate and air are discharged at saturated steam temperature without the need for a water seal. Applications:- Biotechnology

Installation:
Ideally installed in a horizontal line as close as possible to the equipment or pipeline being drained. For freeze proof or self-draining installations. May be installed vertically when horizontal fitting is not an option. Full-flow isolating valves should be installed upstream and downstream of the trap.
Maintenance:
This product can be maintained without disturbing the piping connections. Complete isolation of the trap from both the supply and return lines is necessary before servicing. Trap should be disassembled periodically for inspection and cleaning of the disc and seat. The only wearing parts on this trap are the disc and seat rings, which should be inspected occasionally. Slight wear can often be corrected by resurfacing on a lapping plate. (Complete installation & maintenance instructions are included in the IMI sheet which you will receive with this product.
Sample Specification:
Steam trap shall be all ANSI 316L stainless steel thermodynamic disc type with connections on a common centerline which can be installed in any position. Integral seat design. Shall not require any water seal for normal operation. Spirax Sarco type BTD52L for all pressures between 3.5 psig (0.24 barg) and 150 psig (10 barg).
