Seat Materials:

Virgin PTFE - Virgin polytetrafluoroethylene
• The standard seat material and ideal for most sanitary applications. Use where a low co-efficient of friction is specified. This is a 3A and FDA approved material.

RTFE® - 15% Glass reinforced tetrafluoroethylene
• This has a slightly higher temperature and pressure rating than PTFE. Used for applications requiring a high cycle life than PTFE offers. This is a 3A and FDA approved material.

25% Carbon PTFE - 25% Carbon reinforced tetrafluoroethylene
• Use for higher temperature pressure applications in steam and thermal fluid applications. This is a 3A and FDA approved material.

Stainless Steel PTFE - 50% Stainless Steel filled tetrafluoroethylene
• Use for higher temperature pressure applications in a sanitary process. This is a 3A and FDA approved material.

UHMW - Ultra-high Molecular Weight Polyethylene
• This has a low modulus of abrasion and minimal property degradation when exposed to radiation. Use this where fluorocarbon's are not acceptable. This is a 3A and FDA approved material. Call for pricing and availabilbity on UHMW.
